When we first discovered this small corner of the Southern Nicoya Peninsula nearly two decades ago, it felt like a place where nature still set the rhythm of the day. Mornings began with birdsong. Scarlet macaws crossed the sky. Howler monkeys greeted the sunrise from the trees. The rainforest stretched to the ocean, and life moved just a lot more slowly. What surprised me most is that, despite the years that have passed, Montezuma has never lost that spirit. People still greet each other on the street. Wildlife is still part of everyday life. The rainforest still embraces the coastline. The mornings still feel magical. When Tres Casas Blancas was built, the goal was not to create another luxury resort. It was to create a place that belonged here—a place that reflected the simple beauty, quiet character, and outdoor lifestyle that made us fall in love with Montezuma in the first place. Inspired by the timeless craftsmanship of the Italians who created these white casas, each home was designed to embrace the tropical breeze, blur the line between indoors and outdoors, and invite guests to experience Costa Rica as it has always been meant to be experienced. We believe luxury is not measured by marble floors or infinity pools.
